Te Matatini Society Incorporated is excited to announce Westpac Stadium is the chosen venue for the 2019 Te Matatini Kapa Haka Festival.
Te Matatini starts tomorrow! Here is everything you need to know for the four day festival:
7.00am - Ticket Box Office
7.00am - Gates open
8:00am - Karakia
Approximate finish times: Thursday 7:30pm, Friday 7pm, Saturday 7pm, Sunday 4:30pm

Event parking
Due to the Festival's operational requirements for parking, there will be no parking available for sale to the general public at this event.
We recommend using public transport to get to the Stadium. Click here for more information.
A pick up / drop off lane will be available near the entry to the public car park (off Waterloo Quay).
Please note, casual commuter parking will not be available on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 February. Those who have purchased monthly passes can continue to use their park on the Mezzanine floor.

Please note, for this event we have altered some of our conditions of entry to create an enjoyable environment for all. Personal food, chilly bins, picnic blankets, prams and empty plastic and metal drink bottles are allowed at this event. However, commercial and/or hot food, chairs of any kind (including beanbags), glass bottles and aluminium cans will not be allowed. Shoes must be worn at all times, bare feet are not permitted.
Prams
There will be onsite areas available for patrons to park prams. This will be manned by event volunteers at all times. Prams are permitted on the field, but not in the seating bowl.
