Review

This match marked two great milestones with Beauden Barrett and Ben May both celebrating their 100th games for the Hurricanes.

The Canes got off to a great first half, running in four tries to lead at half time 26-12. The second half was slower but the home team managed to hold on to their lead, finally taking the win 29-19.

A great home crowd of 20,144 fans helped cheer the boys on in their opening home game of the season.
