The Wellington City Mission Presents: The Silent Night

Christmas is a joyful time of year. But for many Wellingtonians it can be a challenging time. Some families struggle to put food on the table or presents under the tree, and some people find themselves feeling socially isolated.
The Silent Night is a crowd-less fundraising event that helps to ensure all Wellingtonians are cared for this Christmas. By purchasing a ticket but not attending, 100% of the cost of your ticket will be donated to the Wellington City Mission to fund Christmas hampers for families, groceries for individuals and families, social work support, gifts for the Christmas Toy Store, and so much more.
Let’s fill the stadium with nothing but the generosity of Wellingtonians this Christmas. If you’re an organisation or business and would like to gift tickets to your clients and staff, you can buy up to 20 tickets from any of the ticket categories or get in touch with Sharon Cavill at [email protected] to discuss corporate packages.
Here's what your ticket could help pay for:
$10 Can pay for meal and a barista coffee in our Community Lounge Tā te Manawa
$20 Can buy a toy for our Christmas Toy Store
$50 Can cover the costs of groceries for a single adult (in our Social Supermarket)
$100 Contributes to gifts for those living with us in Transitional Housing
$175 Can buy Christmas treats for hampers delivered to families on Christmas Eve

There will be no actual event taking place at Sky Stadium on Wednesday 21 December. Please do not turn up!
