Review
Wellington made light of miserable conditions when playing into the swirling wind in the first half, strong home defence was needed as Bay of Plenty mounted some strong assaults but were unable to peg back the advantage Wellington had built during the first half.
So the Lions continue their upward drive in the Mitre 10 Cup Championship with a 24-10 win over Bay of Plenty

Friday night Mitre 10 Cup rugby returns to Westpac Stadium as the Wellington Lions take on the Bay of Plenty Steamers!
The Wellington Lions love playing at Westpac Stadium in front of their home crowd and will be counting on your support to get the win.
The first 800 children at the game receive a Kids Eat Free pack including hot chips, a piece of fruit and a bottle of water.
