One Concert! One Date! One Superstar! After nine years, the legendary Elton John and his band will return to Wellington for one spectacular night!

The 21 November 2015 concert will feature iconic hits and classic album tracks from throughout his incredible five-decade career, as well as a selection of songs from his highly-acclaimed album, the recently re-released 40th Anniversary CD, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.

Very special guests will open for this one New Zealand Concert; the sensational voices that are Sol3 Mio. Two tenors, one baritone, a unique stage presence and infectious humour will be a welcomed start to the concert event of 2015.

Don't miss your chance to see this legendary superstar - we're looking forward to welcoming him back for what will be an incredible night in the coolest little capital.

CONCERT INFORMATION

We want to make sure you're all ready to go on the night with as little stress as possible so we've put together a <link file:1328 download file>handy information sheet providing concert details at a glance.

Make sure you check transport routes in advance and leave plenty of time for your travel to Westpac Stadium so you can kick back and enjoy the show.

GETTING TO AND FROM WESTPAC STADIUM

  • The stadium car park will be open from 2.00pm at a cost of $30 (plus eftpos/credit card fees)
  • Traffic restrictions will apply with closures at Bunny St and Thorndon Quay
  • If you are taking public transport, check the service provider for updates or delays on the day (and note details below)
  • For the safety of all patrons, bag searches will be conducted on entry

Taxis

Due to traffic restrictions following the show all taxis will be diverted to the Railway Station on Bunny St and the Thorndon Spiral. Please make your way there should you wish to catch a taxi following the show.

Trains

Extra train services will be running before and after this event.

ON FIELD SEATING

  • Additional signage will be provided to help you find your way
  • A valid ticket must be shown to access the field seating areas
  • High heels are not permitted on the field area so please bring flat shoes

FOOD AND DRINK 

  • All food and beverage outlets will be open plus additional facilities on the Plaza and the field
  • You can bring in an empty clear plastic water bottle (max. 1 litre)
  • Water coolers are situated around the concourse
  • Serving limits for alcoholic drinks per person will apply

UMBRELLAS

Patrons who have brought umbrellas into the Stadium, please consider the view of others and refrain from opening umbrellas inside the seating areas.

MOBILITY IMPAIRED INFORMATION

Bowl seating

For special seating requirements such as impaired mobility please contact Ticketek on 0800 842 538 (Ticket). Special areas are set aside in the Stadium bowl for wheelchairs and care-givers.

Please note wheelchairs are not permitted on the field areas. Wheelchairs can be stored at the Aisle 18 helpdesk.

Wheelchair-accessible toilets

These are located next to Aisles 1, 3, 8, 12, 17, 21, 26, 30 (separate from main toilet blocks). There are also wheelchair-accessible toilets in all of our function/corporate areas.
