New Zealand Eid Day is a bi-annual event bringing together the New Zealand Muslim community for a day of celebration and joy. In 2023, Eid community events will be held in Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton and Wellington.
Eid transaltes to "feast" and is observed twice a year by almost 2 billion muslims worldwide. Eid ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, and Eid al-Adha commemorates the end of the Hajj pilgrimage period.
Come along on Thursday 29 June to enjoy a wide variety of food and entertainment, including an exciting Hajj treasure hunt, laser tag for the thrill-seekers, virtual reality, bouncy castles, and more.
Entry is free! Everyone is welcome regardless of faith, ethnicity, gender, or age.
Car parking
Limited car parking is available free of charge for guests of Eid Day. Please follow directions of Stadium staff to ensure you park in the correct area of the outer plaza.
