This Christmas, Westpac Stadium, EPICURE and Portlander Bar and Grill invite you to the first ever game of backyard cricket on Westpac Stadium’s hallowed field, followed by a very, very long lunch...
Forget your traditional Christmas function. ‘The Backyard Cricket Christmas Long Lunch’ is a must do Christmas event, perfect for your workplace party or client hosting.
This will be your chance to follow in the footsteps of Martin Guptill and hit a six on to the Stadium roof, or if that isn’t your forte then put your feet up pitch-side at the Pimm’s Pavilion and watch everyone else try to!
Following the cricket you’ll head to the exquisitely-styled Level 4 Gallery overlooking the pitch, to enjoy a sumptuous, Brancott Estate wine-matched, four course lunch created by EPICURE Executive Chef Steve Morris and Portlander Bar and Grill Executive Chef Tim McClay-Talivai.
Complete with well-known sporting personalities such as BLACKCAPS Grant Elliott, great festive food, fantastic drinks and live entertainment, this really will be the Christmas event of the season.
1.00pm Backyard Cricket & live music on the Westpac Stadium field
2.30pm Four-course Lunch in the Members Gallery hosted by Scott Stevenson
5.00pm Finish

PLEASE NOTE BOOKINGS ARE NOW CLOSED. Tickets cost $179 per person (booking and credit card fees may apply). Plus every ticket includes a $20 donation to Life Flight’s Westpac Rescue Helicopter and Wellington Free Ambulance.
