RESULT: NZ won by seven wickets (Pakistan 105/10 - NZ 106/3)
New Zealand, without captain Kane Williamson who rested a minor side injury, overcame some early wobbles to reach their victory target with 25 balls to spare. Opener Colin Munro braved a painful hit to the wrist from an errant throw to be 49 not out off 43 balls, as the seven-wicket victory extended their winning streak to 13 completed matches.

New Zealand cricket supporters are promised a total of 35 internationals over the upcoming 2017-18 season – an unprecedented number of matches for a New Zealand home summer.
Pakistan will arrive to play five ODIs and three T20s - this match at Westpac Stadium will be the first T20 in this series.
