ROCK OR BUST WORLD TOUR IN WELLINGTON

Following the release of AC/DC's worldwide Number One album 'Rock Or Bust', the legendary band will play at Westpac Stadium on 12 December 2015, with <link http: www.stuff.co.nz entertainment music nz-rockers-on-show-at-acdc-tour external link in new>Shihad and Villainy confirmed as special guests.

AC/DC last toured the world from 2008-2010 with the Black Ice World Tour, which had the band playing to over 5 million fans in 108 cities in over 28 countries.

'Rock or Bust' is the band's fifth No.1 album in Australia and the bands seventeenth studio album overall, with the previous four being: BACK IN BLACK (March 1981), LIVE (22-Nov-1992), BALLBREAKER (8-Oct-1995), and their last was BLACK ICE (27-Oct-2008).

The Stadium car park is open for this event at a cost of $30 (please note there is a fee for paying by credit card or eftpos of .60c).

CONCERT INFORMATION

We want to make sure you're all ready to rock on the night with as little stress as possible so we've put together a <link file:1372 file>handy information sheet providing concert details at a glance.

Make sure you check transport routes in advance and leave plenty of time for your travel to Westpac Stadium so you can kick back and enjoy the show.

GETTING TO AND FROM WESTPAC STADIUM

  • The Stadium car park will be open from 2.00pm at a cost of $30 (plus eftpos/credit card fees)
  • Traffic restrictions will apply with closures at Bunny St, Stout St, Thorndon Quay and Featherston St prior to the show and immediately following
    • Public and Taxi drop-offs are permitted in the Stadium drop-off lane on ground level up until 5.30pm
    • After this time, please use Railway Station (Bunny St) if Northbound, or CentrePort (Hinemoa St) if Southbound
    • Mobility impaired patrons will be permitted to drop-off in the Stadium drop-off lane upon presentation of a valid Mobility Permit
  • If you are taking public transport, check the service provider for updates or delays on the day
  • For the safety of all patrons, bag searches and wanding will be conducted on entry

ON FIELD ACCESS (Arena 1 & 2)

  • Patrons with on-field tickets will be required to obtain a wristband from the 'Field Entry to Arena 1 and 2' queues at the Stadium Entrance to access the field - ensure you you are in the correct lane and collect your wristbands after entering through the turnstiles
  • High heels are not permitted on the field area so please bring flat shoes
  • Wheelchairs are not permitted on the field area
  • Due to expected volumes there may be some delays following the show. Please be patient when exiting the field area and the Stadium while the aisles clear

FOOD AND DRINK 

  • All food and beverage outlets will be open plus additional facilities on the Plaza and the field
  • You can bring in an empty clear plastic water bottle (max. 1 litre)
  • Please note that bottles (including plastic) cannot be taken into Arena 1 or Arena 2
  • Water coolers are situated around the Concourse and water is available on the field perimeter 
  • Serving limits for alcoholic drinks per person will apply
