Sky Stadium has been named as a finalist in the Best Venue 2024 category at this year's NZEA New Zealand Event Awards!

This is the second year in a row that we have been nominated as a finalist in these awards, following last year's nominations in the Best Music Event and Best Community / Not for Profit Event (3,000+ participants) categories, winning the latter.

This year's awards celebrate the innovation, creativity, and resilience of New Zealand's event industry. Our entry is in recognition of the incredible work achieved in the lead up to and during the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 here in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington.

With 69 finalists across 17 categories, the NZEA judges commented that the quality of entries this year has been very high, making for fierce competition. We are thrilled to be acknowledged alongside the other finalists.

The NZEA New Zealand Event Awards winners will be announced at the 2024 Gala Evening on Tuesday 27 August at the Fly Palmy Arena in Palmerston North.
