The following events have been designated as “Special Entertainment Events” under the Wellington City Council’s District Plan rules. Noise limits for stadium general activities (these are the same limits as apply in the City Central Area) may accordingly be exceeded on each of these two days.
Event: Ed Sheeran concert (music event)
Wednesday 1 February 2023 – Rehearsal day
Between 9.00am to 10.00pm, but not exceeding 11 hours in any day
Thursday 2 February 2023 – Concert day
Gates open: 4.00pm
Concert start: 6.00pm
Concert finish: 11.00pm
Sound testing may occur on each of the days noted above. All times are approximate and subject to change.
