Event guide

We are expecting 25,000 fans for this event, so we recommend you plan ahead and leave plenty of time to get to the venue and through the gates. Please arrive at least 90 minutes before Guns N’s Roses are set to take the stage, so you have enough time to make your way to your seats in time for the first song.

We want you to have a great day with us, so please plan ahead. Check out our event guide below and the event page for everything you need to know.

Please note there are no pass outs for the show.

Sky Stadium is now a cashless venue. All food and beverage outlets and merchandise stands accept EFTPOS and credit card.

Check your tickets in advance

  • For mobile ticket holders, please ensure your ticket is ready on the Ticketek App or saved to the wallet on your mobile phone and turn the screen brightness up.
  • For “ezyTicket” holders, please ensure you have printed your tickets before heading to the show and have these ready to scan at the turnstiles. Please note your ezyTicket will not work on your mobile phone.

  • If you do need to drive, please note traffic restrictions will be in place before and after the show with road closures at Bunny St, Stout St, Thorndon Quay and Featherston St. Click here and here for a full list of road closures.
  • The Stadium car park is SOLD OUT, and the car park will open at 1.00pm. Park up early and enjoy the afternoon in Wellington!

Entry Conditions

At the gates

  • Please have your ticket ready to scan at the entry turnstiles.
  • For mobile tickets, have your screen brightness turned up and the ticket barcode ready.
  • For ezy-Tickets, print these at home and have them folded correctly.
  • Please check in advance for the location of your ticket category and enter through the gate that matches your ticket.
  • It is a requirement of this tour that every patron passes through a metal wanding process before entering, so give yourself plenty of time to get inside the venue and leave any non-essentials at home.
  • We strongly recommend patrons do not bring bags. At the request of the tour, bags must be no bigger than A3 in size (30cm x 21cm) and bag searches will be conducted at the gates.
  • There is no bag check available at this event.
  • You can bring in an empty clear plastic water bottle (max.1 litre). Bottle caps must be removed on entry at the request of Artist Management. Once inside, bottles can be filled from water coolers around the concourse and field perimeter.
  • At the request of the Tour, professional cameras or audio recording devices are not permitted, including selfie sticks, GoPros, tablets or drones. Mobile phones are permitted.
  • Ticketek is the only authorised ticket seller for this event. Tickets purchased from other sellers may not be accepted.

We thank you in advance for your patience as we process everyone entering the Stadium.

If you have purchased a ticket on the field:

  • For Diamond GA Standing ticket holders, enter the Stadium through the left-hand bank of turnstiles.
  • For Gold Reserved ticket holders, enter the Stadium through the right-hand bank of turnstiles.
  • All field patrons will be wrist banded on entry. No wristband, no field access.
  • Once inside the venue, please look for the colour coded signage that matches your field block letter. The field blocks are numbered A to C, with A closest to the stage, directly behind the Diamond GA Standing section.
  • Your closest food and beverage outlets will be in the catering tunnel (south-west corner, at the rear of the field) and on the concourse nearest to your aisle. Your closest toilets will be on the concourse nearest to your aisle, but you may find shorter queues if you walk a little further around the concourse.
  • Patrons with on field tickets will need to show their wristband on entry to the field to access the correct area.
  • Please follow the signage and instructions of staff members to help find your way.
  • High heels are not permitted on the field area so please wear flat shoes.

If you have purchased a ticket in the stands:

  • At the main gates, please enter via the relevant bank of turnstiles that matches your ticket. Patrons sitting in the stands do not require a wristband to access their seats.
