All Blacks v France - speciality food options!

Delaware North became the official food services provider of Westpac Stadium in April of this year and has spent the last few months improving and refining the new public menu offering. They have also developed some hero items for upcoming events including the Piri Burger, co-designed with All Blacks legend Piri Weepu. Here are some of the speciality items available for All Blacks v France on June 16 - Enjoy!

The Piri Burger

Former All Black Piri Weepu has expanded his many talents to become a guest chef for Westpac Stadium.  Working alongside the Stadium chefs from Delaware North, Weepu has created his very own culinary masterpiece ‘The Piri Burger’.

The Burger is a delicious combination of slow smoked pulled pork, Horopito BBQ sauce, wild fennel and apple slaw with a special Stadium bun.

This burger collaboration is born out of Piri’s love of the hunting and the bush and has been interpreted by Chef Kupsami by using Horopito, a bush pepper, braised smoked pulled pork (smoked in house for 13 hours) and a hint of spice which alludes to the adventure of the hunt.

The Piri Burger will be available for the public to purchase at the All Blacks v France test match at Westpac Stadium on 16 June.
